The Springboard Charity
At Chiller Box our work doesn't stop with delivery of our services - we're passionate about engaging with the world and, for want of a better phrase, 'giving back'. A big part of Chiller Box's work within hospitality is our role as an ambassador for The Springboard Charity. Springboard works to help young people, the unemployed and disadvantaged improve their prospects of entering the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industry.
Inspire: An online and offline toolkit for employers offering work experience for students partaking in the Diploma in Hospitality for 14-19 year olds. This initiative will ensure consistency, with work experience across the hospitality industry, and provide new opportunities to young people.
Career Scope: A growing campaign to raise awareness of the career opportunities in the restaurant industry. The focus of Career Scope is to encourage home grown talent here in the UK within the hospitality sector.
Ambassadors for the Diploma in Hospitality
Chiller Box are proud to be a supporter of the new Diploma in Hospitality. Our aim as an Employer Champion is to encourage and promote work-related learning within the hospitality sector for students on the course.
The Diploma will better prepare students with relevant real life skills that will make them more employable - something we’re excited to be a part of!

In addition, we're always on the hunt for ways to engage with the community. Marios recently appeared on a 'Dragon's Den' style panel for an enterprise day at Luton 6th Form Centre. Chiller Box also provides lectures on kitchen design at Waltham Forest College as part of their curriculum.
