What is VRV / VRF Air Conditioning?
VRV air conditioning was developed by Daikin and stands for Variable Refrigerant Volume. VRV air conditioning systems are commonly installed in large commercial spaces such as offices, hotels and shops.
Basically, "refrigerant" is the liquid used to keep the air conditioning system cool - a VRV system circulates just enough refrigerant to keep each room cool, thereby allowing different rooms to be kept at different temperatures. With minimal fluctuations in temperature, it results in a much more comfortable environment.
It is an energy efficient system since there are no constant stop/start operations which require surges of power, so of course, it saves you money.
